She was 24 years old, had posed for Victoria’s Secret, and was on top. But then the disease struck – Hashimoto’s thyroiditis manifested by problems with the thyroid gland – and Karolína reassessed her entire life. Also because she miraculously managed to get pregnant after her firstborn Tobin (14), she has already given birth to two more children, son Noah (8) and daughter Luna Grace (3), in Florida.
Away for peace
She traded New York, the center of the fashion world and the city that never sleeps, for the warmth and tranquility of Miami, Florida. They moved in 2012, and in 2018 the Lanai Bayfront residence on the private island of Fisher Island became their new home, namely a luxurious ground-floor apartment with a front garden and several terraces. For the one with her husband, film producer Archie Drury (53), according to records in the local land registry, in 2018 they paid “only” 30 million crowns!
Where are they going?
However, the Děčín native overcame the disease with an honest lifestyle, she even became an icon of a healthy lifestyle, and now she intends to devote herself fully to her profession again. “My children are older now, so I have more time. I have a new agent, can’t wait to get back into modeling. I also want to do production and hosting,” explains.
But the new vision does not go well with life on an isolated island, so the originally Czech beauty offers the property for sale for a dizzying 158 million crowns! However, she has not yet revealed where she will live, they do not yet have ownership of any new real estate in Miami registered in their names…
