TKO Arslanbek Makhmudov, Guido Vianello Wants Anthony Joshua: I Want World Champion

Boxer Guido Vianello after winning TKO in the 8th round over Arslanbek Makhmudov directly challenge Anthony Joshua and other top heavyweight giants. The 6-foot-10 Guido Vianello needs the win not just for his career, but for his confidence.

”I know exactly who I am,” Vianello said in a recent interview with Boxing Social’s Louis Hart. ”I can fight anybody. All I need is one name and three months, and I can fight any heavyweight,” he continued.

Vianello’s goal is the same as almost any boxer who achieves at least moderate success. ”I really want to be a world champion,” he said. ”I can’t wait to get a new fight and train for it.”

The first name out of Vianello’s mouth is former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who will fight Daniel Dubois for the IBF title on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in London. “We have a lot of good heavyweights now, so there are a lot of good names,” Vianello said.

”Let’s see who gives me the best chance, because it’s just about giving me the possibility to fight with big names. Now I have a good ranking, so I want someone who is better than me. Let’s see who wants to fight me. I’m ready.”

Vianello was unranked by the four major sanctioning bodies entering the fight against Mahkhmudov. That could very well change, given that Makhmudov was ranked No. 9 by the WBC and No. 15 by the IBF in mid-August.
