Now royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams thinks Harry would probably “get close” to Charles and Kate at that time.
Royal fans are currently worried about Princess Kate (42) and King Charles III. (75). While Prince William’s (41) wife recently underwent abdominal surgery, the monarch is preparing for an operation next week. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams (74) is of the opinion that Prince Harry (39), whose relationship with the family is said to be cold, is likely to contact the royals.
Harry will probably “get closer” to Charles and Kate, Fitzwilliams tells the British tabloid “The Sun”. “There is a very deep division in the royal family. As far as we know, Harry and William do not speak to each other”, reports the expert. In recent months there have been repeated reports concerning in particular the two sons of King Charles III. They are said to have argued after Harry and his wife, the Duchess Meghan (42), took the royal family by storm, among other things, in a Netflix documentary and in her autobiography “Reserve”.
A quiet real reconciliation?
Given the delicate situation, “hopefully Harry will do something, but the best thing, and the only thing, would be a quiet or private approach,” Fitzwilliams was quoted as saying. In this case the public would not notice anything. He describes it as “very unfortunate” that both Princess Kate has had to undergo surgery and that the king will soon be treated. He defines the operation on Prince William’s wife as “an operation of a certain magnitude”. However, both are said to be doing well at the moment given the circumstances.
Kensington Palace had confirmed that Kate had planned abdominal surgery and that the procedure had been successful. However, she will have to stay in the clinic for up to two weeks and will continue to recover thereafter. The exact reason for the operation is unknown, but according to British media she is already recovering well and the palace also confirmed that Kate is not being treated for cancer.
“Like thousands of men every year, the king was being examined for an enlarged prostate,” the palace also said. His condition “is not worrying and next week he will go to hospital for an operation”. Charles’s wife, Queen Camilla (76), said during an appointment in Aberdeen: “He’s fine, thank you very much.” The king can’t wait to get back to work. According to the Palace, a “short recovery phase” is expected.
