Vishvas News started the investigation by scanning the viral video. The people seen in the video are wearing woolen clothes. This means that the incident in the viral video happened in the winter season.

Taking the investigation forward, Vishwas News extracted several key frames of the viral video. Then started searching them with the help of Google Lens tool. We found clips related to the viral video in many news reports.

A YouTube channel named MP Tak reported on January 25, 2024, “There was a lot of uproar in Ujjain, the home district of Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav. Here the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was brutally broken. The statue was dropped from a tractor. After this incident, the other side also got angry. There was a lot of uproar. Some vehicles were also burnt. During the time when the statue was being broken, the police were also present there. But they were seen standing with folded hands in front of the miscreants. Women also participated enthusiastically in breaking the statue.”

During a Google search, we found a news on Naiduniya.com. This news, published on 25 January 2024, said, “A dispute broke out over the damage to the statue of Sardar Patel in the Makdon area of ​​​​Ujjain district. Vishwas News furthered the investigation and contacted Suryanarayan Mishra, Bureau Chief of Naiduniya, Ujjain. Giving information, he told that the incident in the viral post is from Makdon area of ​​Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh in January 2024. During a dispute between two parties, the statue of Sardar Patel was toppled by a tractor. In this case, the police took action by arresting 22 accused.
