Heat waves spread across the North, increasing in severity in the plains and midlands with the highest temperature above 38 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the Central region experienced a weekend with temperatures in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

On June 30, the North entered a widespread heat wave lasting two days. The highest temperature in the area is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some places above 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest humidity is 55-60%.

In Hanoi and the provinces and cities of the Northern Delta, temperatures may rise to a scorching 38 degrees Celsius, lasting from 11am to 4pm. The region will experience hot, uncomfortable weather on the weekend.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the Central region, heat waves will also appear with more severe intensity when the common temperature is 35-38 degrees Celsius, in some places over 39 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave in the Central region is likely to last for many days to come; while the Northern Delta region may continue until July 2.

The effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, people are on guard against the risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.

In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

– Northeast: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, hot and sunny during the day, some places are very hot. Lowest temperature 27-30 degrees Celsius; highest 35-37 degrees Celsius.

– From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue: Showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, hot and very hot during the day, some places especially hot. Lowest temperature 27-30 degrees Celsius; highest 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 39 degrees Celsius.
