The Mohammed V Theater in Rabat is witnessing a new return of theatrical and cultural activities that attract lovers of the great arts, after a period of forced hiatus due to the holding of the concerts of the “Mawazine Rhythms of the World” Festival in its nineteenth session on its stage.

The Mawazine Festival’s programming, which was allocated to the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat, caused confusion in the theatrical and cultural performances hosted by the latter, whose stage was allocated to a group of heavyweight singers who presented their artistic evenings on its stage, attracting a significant number of audiences and fans.

During the period between June 21 and 29, the Mohammed V National Theater postponed a number of theatrical, cultural, and special comedy shows until July, due to hosting concerts by the stars of the Mawazine Festival, before the theater’s official website announced the return of the latter to its usual programming.

The ancient theater in Rabat, which is a major hub for culture and arts in Morocco and occupies a special position as one of the most prominent cultural centers in the country, is expected to host a group of artistic events and special comedy shows in addition to theatrical activities; most notably the play “Ecstasy” written and directed by Yassin Ahjam, the play “The Trial of Socrates” by Nabil Lahlou, and the show of the “Imorage” group.

It is worth noting that the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat has, over many years, been an important destination in promoting the cultural scene in Morocco and encouraging theatrical activity and artistic expression in its various forms. It has also provided a space for cultural and social communication in which artists and creators meet with the public to exchange experiences and creative experiments directly.
