Karşıyaka Municipality Semi-Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool Introduced 7 Thousand People to Swimming Sport

(İZMİR)- Karşıyaka Municipality Semi-Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool has introduced 7 thousand people to swimming since June. The facility, which has a ‘Clean Pool Certificate’, has attracted great interest from citizens of all ages with its membership system open to the public and swimming courses. Mayor Yıldız Ünsal said, “We continue to provide services worthy of our people and the sports city of Karşıyaka.”

Karşıyaka Municipality Swimming Pool, the only indoor swimming facility of semi-Olympic size in Karşıyaka, has become a favorite of citizens spending the summer in the city. Since June, swimming courses and private lessons organized for children and adults have reached approximately 5 thousand participants, while the number of active members using the facility has exceeded 2 thousand during the same period. In addition, the pool has hosted the trainings of Karşıyaka Belediyespor Swimming Team. The qualified services provided in the modern facility have pleased both citizens and athletes.

The Karşıyaka Municipality Semi-Olympic Indoor Swimming Pool, which has been given a ‘Clean Pool Certificate’ by the İzmir Governorship Provincial Health Directorate and is regularly inspected every month, is among the most contemporary sports facilities of the city with its technological equipment, design, hygiene and safety. The facility, which is open to the public with individual or family membership, offers swimming courses for both children and adult groups, as well as private lessons.
