JITEX 2024 Event Records Total Transactions of IDR 12.9 Trillion

JAKARTA – The Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, and SME Expo (JITEX) 2024 event held by the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) of DKI Jakarta Province recorded a total transaction of IDR 12.9 trillion. The acquisition was from the total transactions during the three-day JITEX event, namely August 7-9, 2024.

“Today’s event is the third day of JITEX held by the DKI Jakarta provincial government through the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and MSMEs Service, today we can record transactions of IDR 12.9 trillion,” said Head of the DKI Jakarta Province PPKUKM Service Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo at JCC Senayan Jakarta, Friday (9/8/2024).

Ratu added that she did not set a target for JITEX this year because the event was an initiative of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in synergy with the Association of Indonesian Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) to develop business.

“Actually, because this is the first time, we are not targeting the total transactions because today B2B has ended, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow it will be B2C so people can shop directly from existing MSMEs and industries,” explained Ratu.

Thus, Ratu hopes that JITEX 2025 will be held again with more investors than this year. “We will still hold JITEX 2025 and this was initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with the hope that JITEX will become an exhibition that must be held every year,” said Ratu.

JITEX 2024, held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan, Central Jakarta, will last until Sunday (11/8/2024). JITEX 2024 is expected to be a Business to Business (B2B), Business to Government (B2G), and Business to Consumer (B2C) event, as a form of cooperation between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Hippindo.
