Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with the Vice President of the European Commission, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Joseph Borrell.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues.
In the context of the partnership between Armenia and the European Union, both sides emphasized the importance of implementing already formed cooperation programs and achieving a new stage in additional directions.
Mirzoyan also emphasized the importance of making a final decision on the initiation of the dialogue on the liberalization of Armenia-EU visas.
Reference was made to upcoming activities and tasks on the agenda.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Joseph Borrell also exchanged views on regional issues. Mirzoyan presented the latest events in the process of regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He noted the importance of carrying out the border delimitation process between the two countries based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration.
Presenting the discussions on the draft peace agreement, the head of MFA stressed that it will be possible to reach a final agreement by reflecting the agreements reached in the draft agreement.
Other issues of mutual interest were also mentioned during the conversation.
