The Brit got to know the shelter’s kennel as a puppy a few weeks old. When he was then adopted by a married couple, they believed in the shelter that everything would be fine and that the Brit would have a happy dog life. At first it really was, but only until the moment spouses divorceli. From that moment on, the dog was a nuisance. “We found out that the Brit is constantly shut up once in a barn, in some crate or pen, which is very small, and that he is hardly ever out,” said shelter owner Jana Kymrová.

Removed from adoption

Therefore, representatives of the shelter contacted the inspectors regional veterinary administration, who took the dog away. “Brit like that through no fault of his own, he ended up with us again,” she added, saying that now the British will be looking for a new, better and, above all, more responsible family that won’t put him down anymore.

Without interest and education

Because the Brit, like any young dog, is very temperamental, he would need a companion sports minded people who would work with him and they would be able to confiscate it. During the year he spent in adoption, se he learned nothing, apparently no one paid attention to him. “He was basically idle with them,” Jana said, adding that now the Brit had to to catch up on everything he missed, he must learn obedience, basic commands and also walk on a leash.

A good companion

According to Jana Kymrová, a person who is patient and dedicated to him will be British a great companion. “It is wonderful and kind dog, who will be happy in a house with a garden, but he can also be in an apartment,” she said, adding that the only thing a Brit needs besides education is love. “When people give it to him, he gives it back to them. It is young healthy dog, it is unnecessary for him to spend his best years in a shelter. We would like to give him a good home as friends,” she added.
