ERMED and Heart Bridge Mothers Kindness Movement distributed Ashura in the month of Muharram

Erzurum New Media Association (ERMED) and the Heart Bridge Mothers Kindness Movement distributed Ashura in front of the Lalapaşa Mosque on the occasion of the Muharram Month.

In addition to many events organized for the month of Muharram, which has an important place in the Islamic world, the distribution of Ashura, which is considered a symbol of unity and solidarity, has been continuing traditionally for years. In this context, the Heart Bridge Mothers Kindness Movement and ERMED managers came together and distributed Ashura to citizens in the courtyard of the Lalapaşa Mosque. Expressing her feelings in the program where the association managers personally distributed Ashura, ERMED President Gamze İspirli touched on the importance of the month of Muharram and said the following:

“The month of Muharram has an important place in strengthening our peace, unity and togetherness. I hope that the Day of Ashura and the month of Muharram will also bring peace and tranquility to all of humanity. In the month of Muharram, where the awareness of sharing abundance and being one and together reaches its highest point, we experience our common joy and sadness together. Regardless of their sect, creed, color or race, all Muslims are brothers, and the ashura formed by the coming together of different blessings and tastes actually symbolizes this integrity. With these feelings and thoughts, I hope that the month of Muharram will bring health, peace and abundance to our country and the entire Islamic world, and will be a means of strengthening our unity, togetherness and brotherhood,” he said.

Ashura Distributed to 1500 People

The Head of the Heart Bridge Mothers Kindness Movement Atike Buliç, while serving aşure to the citizens with a ladle in her hand, expressed her feelings as follows: “Muharram is a month when abundance, sharing, unity and togetherness consciousness reaches its highest point. We all experience our joy and sadness together in this month. Today, we served aşure, which is the symbol of brotherhood, sharing, solidarity and abundance. We are experiencing the happiness of being together in unity and togetherness on these blessed days. We will continue such activities in the month of Muharram, we want to fulfill the requirements of our beliefs and strengthen our unity and togetherness by making our aşure distribution traditional. In the Ashura distribution program held in the courtyard of Lalapaşa Mosque, Ashura was distributed to over 1500 citizens in a hygienic manner. – ERZURUM
