Dilan Polat Reunited with Her Family After Her Release

After being released from prison, Dilan Polat, who stayed at her sister Sıla Doğu’s house in Sarıyer with a view of the Bosphorus, met with her lawyer Sevinç Horoz later in the evening. Horoz said, “I see her often anyway. Of course she had health problems and psychological problems. The conditions inside were known, of course they were not good. Now she has reunited with her children, she is very happy with her family and children.”

Dilan Polat, who was arrested and tried as part of an investigation launched against her for ‘money laundering and tax evasion’, was released. After her release, Dilan Polat went to her sister Sıla Doğu’s house in Sarıyer with a view of the Bosphorus and met with her children and family. Polat was visited by her lawyer Sevinç Horoz at night. Horoz stated that she went to Engin Polat to share the release information and made statements about Dilan Polat’s health condition and the release process.

Providing information about the release process, Horoz said, “In the regular detention review conducted on August 9, it was decided to continue the detention. At this stage, the prosecutor’s opinion was for release. We made our objection to a higher court in this direction, and the release decision was made accordingly.”

Horoz, who said that they expected the objection they made to be concluded positively, said, “We were waiting, our file has been under review for a week. The objection evaluation had not been made yet. Our decision came this afternoon. Since the evaluation process of our objection took a long time, they could not make an evaluation regarding what kind of news would come out and what kind of evaluation result would be, but I honestly thought that the objection would result in a result towards release.”

Confirming that Dilan Polat fainted during her visit with her family, Horoz spoke about her health condition and said, “I see her often, of course she had health problems, psychological problems. Horoz, who stated that Polat’s release conditions do not require a signature, said, “He was only released to be subject to the provisions of the international travel ban and judicial control. There is no signature requirement.” Horoz said that all the defendants in the case will appear before the court on September 4 and give their statements and statements.
