China marked the conclusion of one of its most important political events – the Third Plenary Session – with a promise to deepen reforms and advance China’s modernization.
Several other important statements were made at this year’s event: modernising China’s governance system, ensuring a qualitative leap in productivity based on the recent scientific and technological revolution, and laying the foundations for a modern society by the middle of this century.
