“Beshiktas” football school will be opened in Azerbaijan – 2024-08-26 12:42:01 – 2024-08-26 12:42:01

Ufak Pak, the general director of Besiktas Football Academies, visited the Autonomous Republic at the invitation of the Nakhchivan Football Federation.

Publika.az reports that today the football functionary met with the officials of the organization and representatives of the football community in the administrative building of the federation.

U.Pak gave brief information about the academy of which he is the head. The director general said that the “Beshiktas” football school will soon be opened in Nakhchivan with the aim of increasing the mass in the region and attracting children to this sport. The school will initially have teams of 6-13 age groups.

In addition, possible cooperation with the football academy of “Araz-Nakhchivan” was also discussed during the meeting. According to the agreement, in the near future the coaches and trainers working in the children’s football teams of the Turkish representative will conduct theoretical and practical training for the coaches working at the “Araz-Nakhchivan” academy. In the academy, as well as in the school that will be opened, talented and promising children will be sent to the academy of “Beşiktaş” for selection in the future.

The guest also presented the game uniform signed by the players of “Beshiktas” to the president of NFF, Zaur Akhundov. The gift was accepted by the general secretary of the institution, Ragif Abbasov, who participated in the meeting.

Later, the “Beshiktas” official met with coaches at the Uzunoba Training Center, and with children’s football players and referees at the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Stadium.
