Moroccan artist Hisham Bahloul is making a new comeback to the world of television writing after a long absence. Over the past few weeks, he has begun filming his scenes for a television series that is expected to be broadcast on Channel One during the new television season or enter the upcoming Ramadan race.

Bahloul will appear before the Moroccan audience through a film titled “Lyssi Road”, written by Faten Al-Yousfi and dialogue by Soufiane Naoum, and filmed under the direction of Moroccan director Danny Youssef.

The story of this work takes place during the nineties of the last century, before the era of social media platforms, and it deals with the differences in the coexistence of young people in a time period in which modern means were absent, thus addressing its negatives and positives in terms of situations, challenges and problems facing the heroes.

The new film has a romantic drama theme that is not without social topics inspired by the heart of Moroccan society. It also witnesses the participation of a group of young and veteran artistic figures alongside Bahloul, headed by Saadia Azgoun, Souad Khayi, Yassin Ahjam, Hanane Al-Khader, Rabie Al-Saqali and Sandia Taj Al-Din.

Hisham Bahloul revealed, in a previous statement to Hespress, that his absence from the artistic scene in recent years is due to the consequences of the serious accident he was exposed to, which was the biggest obstacle he encountered in his career, as it forced him to enter the hospital many times to undergo surgeries, in addition to his suffering from many restrictions due to the side effects of the accident, such as the internal sprain in his left leg, which narrowed the scope of choice for directors and for him as an actor.

The same speaker pointed out that he had received a previous offer to participate in the film “Anwal,” which deals with the life story of the leader Abdelkrim El Khattabi, but that was withdrawn due to the health problem he was suffering from in his foot.

It is worth noting that actor Hisham Bahloul is currently combining his work in acting with managing the Afifi Theater in El Jadida, where he was appointed as an employee before last Ramadan.
