The Bahraini youth football team continues its preparations to compete in the third West Asian Championship, which will be played from June 25 to July 5, and its competitions will be held at the King Fahd Sports Stadium and Okaz Club in the city of Taif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The draw for the tournament resulted in the Bahraini team being placed in the third group, which includes Syria, the Emirates, and Palestine.
The draw also placed the Saudi team, the host of the tournament, in the first group alongside the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, and Yemen, while the second group included the teams of Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Albania.
It is expected that the Bahrain national team will begin its journey in the tournament by facing the Emirati national team on June 26 at King Fahd Stadium, and will face the Palestinian national team in its second match on June 28, and the first round will conclude with a meeting with the Syrian national team on June 30.
